Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Education

Spiritual, Moral, Social & Cultural [SMSC] development at Chesterton Primary School is delivered through an explicit Personal, Social, Health and Economic [PSHE] curriculum (see attached) and the implicit values of Unicef’s Rights Respecting Schools Agenda [RRSA], Citizenship Education and Sex & Relationship Education [SRE]. These are often delivered using a broad and balanced approach that incorporates the thinking skills and active learning techniques of Philosophy4Children [P4C] and the co-operative learning structures of Spencer Kagan.
